The left knob is for adjusting the intensity of the sound. Turning clockwise to increase.

The right knob is for adjusting working mode.

Does the plastic film need to be removed?

Yes. The film is designed for protecting solar panel in transit. Please remove it before using.

Will it never stop after being triggered?

No. It only works in a cycle and then stop and not work again until being triggered again. Unless animals are always moving around.
